We collect information as part of the donation process, to facilitate the transaction, and of course if you fill out our sign up form, we will collect whatever details you gave us for the purpose of contacting you with updates about our work. Any other information we collect, such as the location of computers accessing our site are used to create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services. 

Donations made through this website (The first option on our donations page) are made through Square. Square retains information in order to keep a record of your donations for us, and will only share such details with third parties who provide them with technology or analytical support and some digital advertisers. In cases where it is deemed necessary, they may share information collected with law enforcement. Square "take reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect your information from loss, theft, and misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Nevertheless, the internet is not a 100% secure environment, and [they] cannot guarantee absolute security of the transmission or storage of your information". Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Any information you give to us through the sign up forms is stored in our database for the purpose of posting letters and/or sending emails, and maintaining a history of your donations/other interactions. This information is not shared outside of the Good Counsel Network except when we are asked by you to do so.

We may contact you to resolve any issues with donations, to update you about what we do (if you have signed up to receive updates), and to confirm contact information if emails/letters are returned to us.

You are welcome to ask us to remove your records from our database at any time.​
